NIA to conduct lie-detector test on Pakistani terrorist Usman on Tuesday

A Delhi court on Monday granted permission to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to conduct a polygraph or lie-detector test on arrested Pakistani terrorist Mohammad Naved alias Usman Khan.
The lie-detector test will be conducted at 11 am on Tuesday.
The decision came as the captured terrorist was produced in the Patiala House Court of the national capital for in-camera proceedings.
According to reports, the reason for the NIA to seek a polygraph test on the terrorist is the inconsistency in the statements given by him. While the NIA has claimed to have got crucial information during Usman’s interrogation, it pressed for a lie-detector test to confirm the same.
The NIA had brought Usman to Delhi from Jammu last week. He was the only terrorist captured alive in Udhampur two weeks ago during a terror attack.
During his interrogation, it was revealed that Usman is 20 years old and belongs to Faisalabad in Pakistan.
